Globe Mechanical specializes in the Shop Fabrication of Process Piping choosing to perform no field construction work. Customers include major Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Petroleum Refining, Beverage, Paper, Automotive, and Power Producing companies. Orders are placed directly by the operating companies or by companies performing services for those operating companies such as Architect/Engineers, General Contractors, and Mechanical Contractors.

Globe delivers fabricated piping to project sites all over the United States and, in recent years, has shipped stainless piping to many foreign locations including Brazil, Canada, Finland, Poland, Slovakia, and Thailand. Staffed by members of the United Association of Pipefitters (Local #522), Globe combines the highest quality welding with unique, labor saving, pipe forming methods which, in turn, provide clients with outstanding value for their construction dollar. In the decade from 1987 - 1997 Globe placed in the top ten of growth companies in the greater Louisville KY area with a compound growth rate exceeding 30%.
