Shop Fabricated Piping - Standard quality conforms to ASME B31.3 utilizing welders qualified to ASME Section IX with minimum radiographic inspection of 5%. Work includes process piping, power piping, serpentine coils, jacketed piping, and specialty weldments. 1.5D Pipe Bending - Highest quality pipe bending is patterned after NASA developed techniques. Bends match standard weld fittings so that engineering layouts do not change. Cold Flaring - Flaring the end of a length of pipe reduces the number of welds and weld fittings in piping lowering the cost to the customer; flaring is performed in accordance with ASME b3l.3 Par 306.4.2. ASME Code Work - ASME Code Stamps are maintained for Pressure Vessels (U Stamp), Power Piping (PP Stamp), Power Boilers (S Stamp), and Code Repairs (R Stamp.)

Painting - By operating its own, state of the art, Sand Blast and Paint Shop, Globe is able to offer a wide variety of high quality painting and coating systems.

Automatic Welding - In addition to offering Manual TIG, MIG, Flux Core, Sub Arc, and Stick Welding, Globe provides high quality Orbital TIG and Automatic MIG Welding.

Materials of Construction - Globe has ASME qualified procedures for a wide variety of engineering materials including: Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex Alloys, Nickel Alloys, Aluminum, and Titanium.

Quality Control - Globe Mechanical performs 100% visual inspection of each piece manufactured. This includes verifying each dimension, proper selection of materials, and conformance to the customer's drawings. Additional NDT includes a minimum of 5% Random Radiography of each full penetration weld. Optional services include further radiography up to 100% , Dye Penetrant Inspection, Mag Particle Testing, and Hydrostatic Testing to 10,000psig.
